Ted Corbitt 15k, by Andi Robik

I ran the Ted Corbitt 15k in Central Park yesterday morning.  There were about 4000 runners and it was a beautiful day for a run. There was a moment of silence at the beginning of the race for the families in Newtown, CT, and Mary gave a nice speech continuing to thank all who contributed to helping Staten Island after the storm as a part of the running community. Then we were off.

The course was not too jammed so I could run my pace without a problem.  I started really just wanting a nice run with different scenery from Montclair, but ended with a pace I was happy with. (8:36).

Here are the results I could find;
Howie Brown 1:18:06 (2nd AG!) Go Howie! (Passed me at about mile 2).
Andi Robik 1:19:53
Scott Flood 1:27:55
Robbin Jordan 1:46:54
Happy Holidays!
