Winter Hosted Runs Continue for the Essex Running Club: On January 22nd, there is a benefit for educational supplies in Senegal

Winter runs continue for the Essex Running Club.  We’re taking off for this MLK holiday weekend but we encourage you to come to our Fleet Feet or Grove runs tomorrow at 7:00 a.m.  We’re considering continuation of runs in March.  (This is something else we haven’t done before.)  If you’re interested in hosting for March 4th or 5th, March 11th or 12th, March 18th or 19th, or March 25th or 26th, please let Paul Maloney know at  In addition, stay tuned for a very special activity on February 12th.

From Aileen:  “I am participating along with 4 of my co-workers in an all female race in pursuit of educational action in Senegal.  It is a week-long race from school to school distributing educational supplies.  We are hosting a breakfast at my house 10 Beverly Rd. in Cedar Grove, on January 22nd, and asking for monetary donations to offset the cost of the trip and to purchase the school supplies.  All paces and distances are welcome.  Please rsvp by Friday, January 20th @“.
