Andi Robik writes: Is it possible to finish a half marathon a mere 6 seconds ahead of your friend and teammate and not see each other on the course? Apparently it is! I finished in 1:53:36 and Rose Hall did 1:53:42. I saw her later after we had both finished. We did not know each other was going to be at the race. Wow.

Seaside was flat but I felt the course was monotonous. Out and back, no turns, no scenery other than the first 2 and last 2 miles on the boardwalk. Minimal support on the course.

Still, a beautiful day to run no matter how you slice it! Would have been a pr if I had shaved 30 seconds but I was very happy with my time.
